So you thought I vanished, didn’t ya? I’m still here, but I skipped my Wednesday post (I hardly miss any) ’cause I needed all my time last week to prepare myself for a ‘pitch’ that I had to perform on a ‘meet-and-greet’ evening at the Hogeschool Zeeland (University of Applied Sciences Zeeland.) Do you know what it is, to “pitch yourself?” To be honest, I didn’t and I had to look it up – and Oops… I’m not the ‘pitching type!’ However, I would LOVE to teach at the University so I did my best and went to pitch myself yesterday evening. I think it went well – I may never hear from the school again but at least I did it. I met people and had an inspiring evening. I’m proud of myself!
Now that the meet-and-greet evening is behind me, I reward myself with a day in the atelier… I need to get some paint on my hands today in order to not get cranky. I think I will start on creating ‘week 10’ in my chronicles art journal – I have week 8 and 9 to show you.
